In an operation code-named Blue Nylon by the RAF in 1969, a Harrier was enlisted to participate in the Transatlantic Air Race organized to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Alcock and Brown’s first non-stop flight across the Atlantic in 1919.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of a record-breaking year in aviation, in 2019 we worked closely with renowned aviation restoration company, Jet Art Aviation, and squadron leader Tom Lecky-Thompson to produce the Dual Retrograde Blue Nylon Limited Edition.

This upcoming release is the second and final instalment of our tribute to the 50th anniversary of the Transatlantic Air Race from London to New York won by Tom Lecky-Thompson in his Harrier XV741 in 1969.
